It is usually a combination of a Bode magnitude plot, expressing the magnitude (usually in decibels) of the frequency response, and a Bode phase plot, expressing the phase shift. I dont use Multisim, but its easy to find an amplifiers voltage gain and input and output impedances with the CircuitLab circuit simulator. In bode plot the horizontal axis represents frequency on a logarithmic scale and the vertical axis represents either the amplitude or the phase of the frequency response function. In electrical engineering and control theory, a Bode plot / bodi / is a graph of the frequency response of a system. SPICE itself is extremely difficult to learn and use, so programs such as Multisim provide an intuitive front end for the powerful SPICE engine. SPICE is the industry standard circuit simulation engine, developed here at Berkeley. Frequency Response basically means how our system will change with respect to a given input frequency. This system could be any system (not just a circuit) which experiences change in behavior due to a change in frequency (cycles/second). The Bode Plot is the frequency response plot of linear systems represented in the form of logarithmic plots. Introduction: Multisim is a circuit simulator powered by SPICE. A: Bode plots are a actually a set of graphs which show the frequency response of a system.
